Nissan/NISMO announces teams for 2023 Super GT and GT4 programs

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motorsports & Customizing Co., Ltd. (NMC) today announced 2023 Super GT teams’ lineup and the team names of the GT4 programs.
“The Z, while it continues to fascinate with its exhilarating performance and beauty, has been active for many years in motorsports in the U.S. and Japan,” said NMC CEO Takao Katagiri. “In addition to Super GT GT500 class, in which the Z took first and second in the championship last year, the Z will start in the GT4 category this year. The Z symbolizes Nissan’s spirit of challenge and excitement. We will also continue to strongly support the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3, which won the championship title in Super GT’s GT300 class last year. As always, we’ll do our very best to meet fans’ expectations, and we thank you for your ongoing support.”
Works Program
SUPER GT GT500 class Nissan/NISMO will continue to participate in Super GT GT500 class with four units of the Nissan Z GT500.
Customer Programs
GT3 Programs: SUPER GT GT300 class Nissan/NISMO will supply three Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3s to the following official customer teams and provide technical support.
GT4 Programs
Nissan/NISMO will supply the Nissan Z GT4 (pending SRO homologation) to the pilot customer teams and provide technical support.
Additional announcements regarding customer teams to take part in the series such as Super GT GT300 class and the Super Taikyu Series as well as other programs will be made at a later date. An online motorsport fan event is scheduled for February 19.
