NISMO Electric Racer Tokyo

Ahead of the Tokyo E-Prix (May 2025), Nissan Formula E Team launched its first ever video game - ‘NISMO Electric Racer Tokyo’.

The retro-inspired arcade game has been created in collaboration with Japanese Illustrator Kentaro Yoshida to celebrate the return of the FIA Formula E World Championship to the Japanese capital, the team’s home race.

Developed in an 8-bit visual style resembling classic 90s arcade games and brought to life by Yoshida, players take control of a stylized Nissan Formula E car through a Tokyo cityscape featuring Mt Fuji and cherry blossom trees.

Players can get behind the wheel on their PC or mobile and navigate a Tokyo street circuit at 322kph - simulating the high-speed excitement of Formula E. Choosing between Nissan Formula E Team drivers Oliver Rowland or Norman Nato, fans can set their high scores and share these to a public leaderboard.
