Big race week in Blancpain Asia, Supercars, ELMS, British GT

Nissan power will be in action across the globe next weekend with GT cars, touring cars and prototypes all in action at Japan’s Fuji Speedway, Australia’s Queensland Raceway, Austria’s Red Bull Ring and Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps.
The Blancpain GT Series Asia has its second Japanese round of the year coming up at Fuji. The KCMG Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 squad has its sights set on repeating its great form from two weeks ago at Suzuka.
The No. 18 GT-R squad of Alex Imperatori and Yuke Taniguchi won in the Pro-Am class at Suzuka in the first race with Edoardo Liberati and former GT Academy winner Florian Strauss working their Nissan GT-R up to second place overall after starting 15th in race two.
The Nissan Motorsport Supercars squad heads to Queensland Raceway with Rick Kelly looking to continue his run of strong performances which included a victory at Winton Motor Raceway.
Michael Caruso has his sights set on bouncing back after being pushed off the road in Townsville and suffering heavy damage to his Nissan Altima.
There will be plenty of Nissan / NISMO-power on track at the Red Bull Ring when the European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup races in Austria.
A total of 37 Nissan-powered prototypes will be in action across the two series. Former GT Academy winner Ricardo Sanchez steps up from the Michelin Le Mans Cup to the European Le Mans Series this weekend joining the DKR team in LMP3.
The Mexican ace will be joined by Henning Enqvist and Fabien Lavergne aboard their Nissan-powered Norma M 30.
The British GT championship has its annual overseas race at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend with Struan Moore and Jordan Witt getting plenty of track in preparation for the Spa 24 hour which will be held the following week.
Moore and Witt will race the No. 24 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 for RJN Motorsport in British GT before being joined by Ricardo Sanchez and Sean Walkinshaw the next weekend for GT Sport Motul Team RJN aboard the No.22 entry.
