Tokyo E-Prix, Japan

After two successful visits to Japan previously, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns for another double-header on the streets of Tokyo.

The event will once again serve as Nissan’s Formula E Team’s home E-Prix, as the sole Japanese manufacturer in the series. The 2.582-kilometer circuit surrounds the largest venue in Japan, the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, or Tokyo Big Sight, on the bustling Tokyo waterfront. It features a tight and technical first sector, which leads into more open second and third sectors with overtaking opportunities down three main straights.

During Season 11’s visit here, Oliver Rowland conquered the tricky and changing conditions to take a special victory for the Japanese outfit at its home event. The Brit also managed to score a pole position and second-place finish over the course of the weekend.
