After a first trip back to China since 2019 last year, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns again for another double-header at the Shanghai International Circuit.

China holds a special place in the history of Formula E, as it was the Beijing Olympic Green Circuit that held the inaugural race of the series in 2014.
