Berlin E-Prix, Germany

A familiar sight to any Formula E fan, the championship returns to Berlin and the historic Tempelhof Airport. First held in 2015, the venue has hosted more races than any other in the series and will be the home for Rounds 7 and 8 in Season 9.

The Tempelhof circuit is a unique one in Formula E as a reversible track. The drivers will compete in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, making preparation for the event more complicated than usual. Adding in an extremely abrasive surface that makes tire management crucial often results in an unpredictable weekend!

Nissan Formula E Team has had success at Berlin in the past, claiming victory there in the penultimate race of the season in 2020. Featuring long, sweeping turns, the Tempelhof track is a drivers’ favorite, and features a Douglas DC-3 aircraft on the inside of Turn 6, creating some excellent photo opportunities.
